No matter how you fudge it, hydrogen clouds cannot condense unless the temperature is less than 20K and if helium was also present then it would have to be below 10K because above these temperatures hydrogen and helium will always form a gas and not a condensate.

As the universe according to the big bang theory did not reach 20K until it was at least one billion years old there is no way that stars could have been formed before this time. So how come galaxies have been detected that were supposed to have been around for hundreds of millions of years before then?
